Dear friend,

I've spoken to too many people who have decided to start a Reiki course because they wanted a hobby or something else to do in their lives.

This is NOT the way to begin your journey towards Reiki enlightenment. To treat Reiki as a hobby or a course that lasts so many weeks, is like treating faith as something you just have at the weekends.

A few years ago I discovered something incredible. A beautiful experience, way of life, enlightenment (call it whatever you like!) that has been so impactful it has literally transformed my life. It has brought me better health, happiness and contentment in both life and work.

I was (subconsciously) searching for some sort of meaning to my life. I wanted some answers without even knowing the questions.

Reiki was a calling for me. I'm not sure whether I discovered Reiki by 'accident', or if Reiki found me, but I do know it was meant to be. And I'd like to share my experiences with you today.

Despite what you may have heard, learning Reiki and becoming a Reiki practitioner is not as hard or as expensive as some people would like you to believe…

     It will NOT take you years to learn everything you need to know.

     You do NOT need a lot of money to start.

     You do NOT need to be a Buddhist Monk or a Grand Reiki Master in order to heal others with Reiki.

     You do NOT need to give up your life to the calling of Reiki.

All you need is a strong desire, a proper reason to change your life (or others) for the better. A belief in a power that is not scientifically proven or understood, but accepted and embraced all the same.

If you have those feelings and beliefs within you, then and only then, should you proceed further with learning more about Reiki.

And that is exactly where this guide comes in…

Because for the past 12 months I have been recording my experiences, my thoughts and how I have been using this amazing gift of Reiki in day to day life.

I consider myself as a regular person. I have a regular job and enjoy a secure family around me.

If you understand this and then wish to pursue Reiki further, even up the point of becoming a Reiki teacher yourself, then there are ways and means of achieving this.

It was great! I have found the guide very valuable.

I'm a Reiki II and have been channelling it quiet extensively for the past year... for many things that almost are very similar to what you have mentioned in the guide. But at times I used to be anxious to know whether I'm channelling in the right manner. I'm working and I do absent healing.

After going through the guide, most of my doubts are now clarified. I have started feeling that the more Reiki one channels, it itself guides you to better innovative ways of using it. It increases one's creativity in channelling too day after day... Also it connects to the right people e.g. you

My intention is of becoming a healer and work for people, create awareness in them and connecting them to this universal life force energy.

Dear Peter,

I really enjoyed reading the Introduction to Reiki guide. For the longest time I've searched for a way to bring out the inner healer in me, and I read quite a lot about alternative healing modalities until I came across Reiki. I haven't experienced it myself, but am so looking forward to a treatment that a Reiki Master here in the Philippines is going to give me within the week. He's also been instructing me about Reiki and is in fact willing to attune me when I'm ready.

I would appreciate it if you could send me more information about Reiki from time to time. I learned a lot from the guide and I'm hoping to learn more as I make my way towards my Truth. Thank you so much.

I agree that reiki helps in bone disorders. I came across one case of slipped disc 4/5 Lumber. The patient was asked to get MRI done. He was told that he would have to undergo corrective surgery. The pain was unbearable. He could not run, lift any weight and could only get some relief while sleeping with his legs tucked up.

He was on probation in the army and had to be fit within 2 months otherwise he would be discharged.
45 minutes of reiki for 21 days cured completely without taking any other treatment.
